Jefferson Glassie is the chief spiritual dude of the Planetary Gigs Society and has performed at several Concerts for Humanity and Concerts for Democracy, both live and virtual. He also recently recorded a number of original songs in the recording studio at the Devi Music Ashram in Rishikesh, India.

Most of his music comprise what he calls ‘intentional’ songs; peace, protest, and similar songs that evoke an intention to make a better, more peaceful, coherent, and nurturing world. Recently, he also has been recording intentional songs under the hastag #SongsForHumanity.

A few years ago, during the pandemic, he also recorded a few fireside chats. Franklin Roosevelt gave many fireside chats during his term in office, and Jefferson believed we needed more fireside chats from citizens and to have productive musical conversations about what our collective intentions are for humans and the planet. He encouraged everyone to do their own fireside chats, or whatever one wants to call them, in which they put out their hopes, dreams, fears, and intentions. We need to hear from everyone to move ahead to the better world we all want.
